A graft is a very small unit consisting of 1-4 hair strands from the same follicle. Each graft is often less than 1 mm and works as a natural building block in a hair transplant. Thanks to their small size the skin heals quickly, and when the grafts are placed with care they create a natural density in hair, beard, eyebrows or scars.
The donor area is where the follicles are harvested, usually at the back or the sides of the head. Here the hair grows naturally strong and is rarely affected by hereditary hair loss. The follicles taken from here are called donor hair, and they keep growing even after they have been moved to a new area.
The recipient area is the place to be filled with hair. It can be the hairline, the temples, the crown, the top of the head, the beard, the eyebrows or over a scar. Here each graft is placed with care so that the hair grows in the right direction and blends naturally with your existing hair.
We combine two established transplant techniques with PRP treatment, four PRP rounds are always included to strengthen healing and result.
With FUE each follicle (graft) is extracted and planted one at a time. Small round openings are made in the skin to place the follicles. This gives a natural growth direction, quick healing and no linear scars. FUE requires the area to be shaved before the treatment.

With DHI the follicles are inserted directly, without the need to make small openings in the skin. The method gives very high control over angle and density in smaller areas such as hairlines, beard and eyebrows. DHI does not require the area to be shaved before treatment. We analyse hair loss, donor area and your goals. DHI is especially well suited if you want extra-high density along the hairline or smaller areas, or if you do not want to shave your entire head before the procedure.
Written instructions a few days ahead, avoid blood thinners, alcohol and nicotine. Wash your hair the morning of the procedure. No special hair-length requirements since the recipient area is not shaved.
