When you have a hair transplant at Hair TP Clinic, a guarantee is included that up to 95 percent of the implanted follicles survive and grow into healthy hair under optimal conditions. Provided that you follow the after-care, abstain from nicotine according to our instructions and attend all follow-ups.
Should the result at 12 months deviate, we evaluate it together. Any correction is planned based on a medical assessment and your agreement, it is not automatic and not automatically free of charge, but agreed in writing.

Terms of the guarantee
Four terms that must be met
The guarantee assumes you take your part of the healing seriously. It is not nitpicking, it is the precondition for the follicles to survive.

The after-care is followed
You follow our written after-care for 14 days: no exercise, no alcohol the first week, gentle shampooing according to instructions, and protection from sun and cold.

The follow-ups are booked
You attend the 3-, 6- and 12-month follow-ups. We document each follow-up with photos so we can track the healing objectively over time.

Good general health
No untreated chronic conditions that affect wound healing (e.g. uncontrolled diabetes). If you take medication, tell us beforehand so we can assess the full picture at the consultation.

Any correction is planned based on a medical assessment and your agreement. The correction is not automatic and not automatically free of charge, what is covered by the clinic and by you is agreed in writing.
Our experience since 2014 shows that the vast majority of patients reach a result they are happy with. But you should know how a possible correction is planned if it becomes relevant.
What the guarantee does not cover
This is outside the guarantee
- Continued natural hair loss in non-transplanted areas, e.g. due to androgenetic alopecia. We recommend PRP or medication to slow the process in parallel.
- Damage to transplanted hair from accidents, chemical treatments performed by third parties or other external causes.
- Subjective expectations of the stylistic outcome. The hairline's appearance, angles and density are decided together at the consultation and documented in your treatment plan.
- Results if you have not followed the terms above, e.g. continued smoking, skipped follow-ups or intense exercise during the healing period.
We are honest about where the limits lie. A guarantee has to be meaningful to mean anything, otherwise it is just advertising.

01What does up to 95% survival mean?
Under optimal conditions we guarantee that up to 95 percent of the transplanted follicles survive and grow into healthy hair. This is made possible by our experience since 2014, the 4 PRP treatments and 3 follow-ups included, and our technique choices (FUE and DHI with fine punches).
02What counts as "optimal conditions"?
That you follow the nicotine stop, our written after-care, attend all follow-ups and do not have untreated conditions that negatively affect wound healing. If any of this is not met we unfortunately cannot guarantee the outcome, but we still do everything we can for the best possible result.
03When is survival measured?
At the 12-month follow-up. That is when the follicles have gone through their resting period, grown out and reached their final density. Earlier assessments are not meaningful because hair grows in cycles.
04What happens if the result does not reach the expected level?
The result is always evaluated together with the clinic. If a correction is needed it is planned based on a medical assessment and your agreement. The correction is not automatic and not automatically free of charge, what is covered by the clinic and by you is agreed in writing in connection with the follow-up.
05Does the guarantee cover hair loss from other causes?
No. The guarantee covers the survival of the transplanted follicles. If hair loss continues in non-transplanted areas due to androgenetic alopecia or other causes, it is not covered. We then recommend PRP or medication to slow the process.
06How are before and after photos documented?
We take standardised photos at the consultation, immediately after the procedure and at the 3-, 6- and 12-month follow-ups. Same angles, same light, same distance. It is the only objective way to compare results over time.
07What do the follow-ups cost?
Nothing. All follow-ups for 12 months are included in the fixed price for your treatment. It is part of our commitment, not an extra service.
08What if I move abroad?
Get in touch and we will sort it out. We can receive photo documentation from another clinic according to our template, or book follow-ups when you are in Sweden.
