01What types of hair transplants are available?
We use two main techniques: FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) where follicles are extracted individually and placed through small openings, and DHI (Direct Hair Implantation) where follicles are inserted directly with a Choi pen without pre-made openings. FUE works best for larger areas and requires shaving; DHI gives higher control at the hairline and smaller areas without shaving.
02How much hair can I transplant?
It depends on the size of your donor area (back and sides) and how extensive your hair loss is. In a typical session we place between 2,000 and 4,000 grafts. We measure exactly during the free consultation.
03Are hair transplants painful?
No. We use local anesthesia so the procedure itself is painless. Mild tenderness may occur for the first 1-3 days after treatment.
04How long is the recovery time after a hair transplant?
Most people are back at work within 3-5 days. The recipient area heals within 7-10 days. Heavy training and sauna can be resumed after 3 weeks.
05Are hair transplants permanent?
Yes. The follicles moved from the donor area (back and sides) are genetically resistant to inherited hair loss and continue to grow for life.
