Densifying thin hair without surgery, how PRP works
Not everyone needs a transplant. For thin or thinning hair where the follicles are still alive, PRP and microneedling can densify the hair naturally.

A transplant is not always the answer, and not always necessary. If you have thin or thinning hair, but where the follicles are still alive, there are non-surgical ways to densify the hair and slow the loss.
When non-surgical treatment suits you
The key is whether the follicles are alive. With early thinning, diffuse sparseness or weakened hair, the follicles are often still active but producing thinner, shorter strands. Then we can stimulate them. If the area is completely bald and has been for a long time, the follicles have died, and then only a transplant helps.
PRP, the body's own growth factors
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) uses your own blood. We take a small blood sample, centrifuge out the plasma rich in growth factors and inject it superficially into the scalp. The growth factors stimulate the follicles, extend the growth phase and improve blood circulation, which over time can give thicker strands and denser hair.
Microneedling as reinforcement
Microneedling creates micro-channels in the scalp that both stimulate in themselves and improve the absorption of PRP and any topical agents. The two are often combined for the best effect.
Realistic expectations
This slows and densifies, it does not create new hair where the follicles are gone. The effect builds up over a series of treatments and requires maintenance to last. Many combine PRP with medication for the best overall result.
At a free consultation we assess with a trichoscope whether your follicles respond to stimulation, and what you can realistically expect.
