Vampire facial (PRP for the face), what to expect
"Vampire facial" is a dramatic name for what is actually a fairly gentle treatment: PRP for the face. The name comes from the fact that we use your own blood. Behind the marketing is a serious, natural method for skin rejuvenation.
How it works
We take a small blood sample, just like at the health centre. The blood is centrifuged so we obtain the plasma rich in platelets and growth factors. It is then introduced into the skin, either via fine injections or combined with microneedling, so the growth factors are distributed through the micro-channels the needles create.
What it does for the skin
The growth factors stimulate collagen production, cell renewal and blood circulation. The result is skin that gradually becomes firmer, more even and gets more radiance, a natural freshness rather than a "filled" or "frozen" look. Because the treatment uses the body's own substances, the risk of reactions is very low, and it suits most skin types.
What to expect
